Who gives this warranty

What is covered, and for how long

• What and how long. We warrant that your new Salvagente sauna and the oxygen concentrator supplied with it will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of delivery.
• Who it covers. The first owner, meaning the person who bought the sauna from us. It does not transfer to a later owner. A later owner keeps any rights the law gives them.
• Business use. It applies to home and business use alike.
• Refurbished saunas. Refurbished and second-hand saunas carry the terms stated when they are sold.
• Replacement concentrators and parts. A replacement oxygen concentrator or part that we supply has its own warranty, stated on its invoice. If we supply it under this warranty, it is also covered at least until this two-year warranty ends.

What we will do

If a covered defect appears. We will, at our option, repair the sauna or replace the defective part. If we decide that neither is practical, we will replace the sauna or refund the price you paid.

In South Africa we do this free of charge for parts and labour. We first assess your claim remotely. If a repair is needed, we decide whether to send a technician or ask you to send the parts tray back to us, at our cost.

What is not covered

• Wear parts. Normal wear of the wear parts listed on your invoice.
• Repairs this warranty does not cover. We give you a written quote before any work. If you accept it, we ask for the deposit shown on the quote before we order parts or start. If you then cancel, we keep only the cost of parts ordered for your repair and work already done, and refund the rest.
• Cosmetic wear that does not affect how the sauna works.
• Accessories we did not supply, including fans (sold separately).

Damage caused by:

• accident or misuse;
• not following the operating manual or the safety instructions, including using extension leads or not using two dedicated wall sockets;
• scale or mineral build-up from using water other than distilled water;
• power surges;
• modification;
• repair by someone other than us or a person following our instructions.

Repair by someone else. Having the sauna serviced or repaired by someone else does not cancel this warranty. We do not cover damage that the work caused.

How to claim

You must claim before the two years end, by email to info@salvagente.co.za or by phone on +27 (0) 72 422 1967. Give us:

• your order number;
• a description of the problem;
• photos or a short video.

Do not send anything back to us without our written instructions. We may ask for more information, or for the part to be returned, before we accept a claim.

If the sauna seems unsafe, stop using it and switch it off at the wall. We aim to reply within 2 business days.

Your legal rights

South Africa.

• This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
• For six months after delivery, if the sauna is not of good quality or is defective, you may return it at our risk and expense. You choose repair, replacement or refund.
• A repair is itself warranted for three months.

Earlier orders. If you ordered before this version took effect, the version in force on the day you ordered still applies to that order, including its warranty. A new version does not cancel or change the terms of an earlier order unless you agree in writing.
