What do "3 modalities in 1" and "7 modalities in 1" mean, and is one machine better than several?
Our Standard and Deluxe bring three modalities together: ozone, steam and far infrared. The Red Light brings seven, adding near infrared and visible red, blue and green light. Against separate machines you gain one footprint, one maintenance routine and one session — our reason for building the sauna this way.
What is in each cabinet
Standard and Deluxe — three modalities in one. Ozone, steam and 12 micron far infrared. Steam raises body temperature; ozone from a medical oxygen concentrator is infused into that steam environment, so in our design it meets the skin in steam rather than dry air. Transdermal ozone uptake has not been quantified. The far infrared element adds radiant heat.
Red Light — seven modalities in one. The same three, plus near infrared at 850 nm from a full-body-length LED array and visible red, blue and green light from 460 nm. There is no ultraviolet output, and its full specification is on the Red Light product page.
Why we build them together
We designed the sauna to bring these modalities into one session because that is the session people finish. Seven modalities in one half-hour session fit a client’s week far better than seven separate appointments, and for an outlet it is a better business: one footprint, one plug, one maintenance routine with plug-and-play parts, one slot in the diary and one price to quote.
The counts describe what is in the cabinet. Which model suits you depends on the modalities you want to use.
