How our saunas compare with wooden, infrared, steam room and hyperbaric options.
Questions (7)
- Why buy a hard-shell ozone sauna cabinet rather than a fabric tent?We build hard-shell fibreglass cabinets rather than fabric tents, and we do not supply a tent sauna. Ozone is a strong oxidant that degrades tent fabric over time, and a folding fabric frame cannot carry integrated controls, adjustable seating, far infrared or a properly sealed neck opening.
- How does an ozone steam sauna compare with a far infrared sauna on its own?A far infrared sauna delivers dry radiant heat only. Our Standard and Deluxe ozone saunas carry far infrared under our 12 micron rating, plus steam and medical ozone in one cabinet. Far infrared alone is a simpler machine, with no oxygen concentrator, no water and no ozone to ventilate.
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers vs. Ozone Steam SaunasIn the evolving world of wellness, innovative therapies like hyperbaric oxygen chambers and ozone steam saunas are gaining popularity. Both offer unique health benefits, yet they cater to different wellness needs. If you are undecided which therapy – hyperbaric vs ozone saunas – is right for you, this guide explores the pros and cons of each to help you decide which suits your health goals best.
- How is an ozone steam sauna different from a traditional steam room?In our ozone steam saunas your head stays outside the cabinet, so you breathe room air while steam surrounds the body. A traditional steam room encloses you completely, is plumbed and tiled into a building, and is shared. Our saunas need no plumbing and move on four castors.
- Is red light therapy on its own enough, or do I need an ozone sauna?Red light therapy on its own is photobiomodulation only: light at specific wavelengths, with no heat, no sweat and no ozone. Our Red Light ozone sauna combines visible light, near and far infrared, ozone and steam in one cabinet.
- What do "3 modalities in 1" and "7 modalities in 1" mean, and is one machine better than several? Our Standard and Deluxe bring three modalities together: ozone, steam and far infrared. The Red Light brings seven, adding near infrared and visible red, blue and green light. Against separate machines you gain one footprint, one maintenance routine and one session — our reason for building the sauna this way.
- Which suits me best: an ozone sauna, a hyperbaric chamber, an infrared sauna or a red light panel? No single option wins across ozone steam saunas, hyperbaric chambers, infrared saunas and red light panels. Choose by what you want, your budget and your space. Anyone with a medical condition should start with their doctor; if hyperbaric oxygen has been recommended, an ozone sauna is not a substitute.
