What is theBooking.site, what does it cost, and what does it do for my outlet?

The commercial model. No setup fee, no monthly subscription, commission only on paid bookings: a flat 15% per booking, credit-card transaction fees included. A fixed subscription bites hardest in a bad month, which is why we did not build one. The outlet is paid immediately when the booking is made.

What it does operationally:

• Manages rooms, equipment and staff as separate resources, so two treatments cannot be booked into the same room or onto the same sauna at once.
• Takes payment when the booking is made rather than after the session, which is the main defence against no-shows and late cancellations. A client who does not show can either reschedule or forfeit the payment.
• Sends automatic booking confirmations, invoices and reminders.
• Lets a client who has registered at any outlet book at yours without filling in a new intake form.
• Surfaces possible contraindication warnings before a service is administered, framed as guidelines rather than as anything conclusive.
• Records signed disclaimers and terms with an audit trail.
• Lets you issue a voucher instead of a monetary refund where local rules allow.
• Lets you block out resources for absence or maintenance, and keeps unlimited booking history.
• Acts as a marketplace as well as a booking engine. Registration is free for clients, who can filter listed outlets by favourites or nearest location. Ratings show as a customer average, and you control your own profile, offerings and pricing. Invite an existing client to register before another outlet does and your business is added to their favourites automatically.

Worth reading in the terms. Payouts go to the payment gateway merchant ID you supply, and theBooking.site is not liable for payments sent to an incorrect ID. The platform offers no insurance or assurances. The terms are governed by South African law.
