Operating your sauna

How do I move my ozone sauna safely?

Switch the ozone sauna off in order and unplug it, take out the water bottle, clear the water under the footrest, disconnect the oxygen concentrator, unlock the castors and roll the sauna with the doors closed. Never tilt it on its sides or backwards. A Standard sauna weighs 80 kg, so use two people.

Every model is built to be moved. Four lockable castors carry the sauna and hold it in place once it is where you want it. No plumbing is connected, so power and the oxygen line are the only things to disconnect.

Before you move it

  • Shut down in order: sauna, then oxygen concentrator, then unplug at the wall.
  • Remove the water bottle from the back and empty it. Clear the water under the footrest.
  • Disconnect the oxygen tube from the ozone inlet, and move the concentrator separately.
  • Close the doors. Open doors add width and put load on the hinges.
  • Unlock the castors before you push, and lock them again when the sauna is in place.

Two rules

  • Do not tilt the sauna on its sides or backwards when moving or carrying it. Keep it upright.
  • Saunas have to be uncrated to fit through a normal doorway. Uncrate first, then move the sauna, rather than trying to get the crate through the door.

Weights and widths

ModelWeightWidth closedWidth doors open
Standard80 kg680 mm1360 mm
Deluxe100 kg680 mm1360 mm

Uncrated and with the doors closed, both fit through a standard internal doorway. The Deluxe is the longer of the two at 1400 mm against 1200 mm, so check corners and lift dimensions rather than doorway width alone. Figures for the Red Light model are on its product page.

Moving it

Roll it, do not drag or lift it, and keep one person on each side on anything other than flat, level floor. Watch for door thresholds, cable runs and floor edges, which is where a loaded castor catches. Let the sauna dry out before moving it into storage.
