Buying, finance, delivery and warranty
What should I do if my ozone sauna arrives damaged?
Check the sauna before the carrier leaves and note any damage or missing items on the carrier's delivery document; the carrier's representative and the person receiving both sign to that effect. If that is not possible, email us with photos within 2 business days. We put it right at our cost.
Checking on delivery helps us claim from the carrier. It does not reduce your rights.
- Inspect on receipt. Check the sauna on delivery, and note any damage or missing items on the carrier’s delivery document. If that is not possible, email us with photos within 2 business days.
- Do not sign a clean delivery note. Our carriers produce a Proof of Delivery because every shipment contains valuable goods. Where the item is damaged, or the packaging is not intact, that must be indicated on the delivery document and signed by both the carrier’s representative and the person receiving the item.
- A damaged item goes back with the carrier. It is returned to us rather than left with you, and we put it right at our cost.
- Insurance. Every shipment we send is insured, so a transit claim has a policy behind it. On an international order the cover and declared value are set out individually on your quotation.
- Wrong item rather than damaged item. If the sauna is not what you ordered, note it on the delivery document if you can and email us with photos. We put it right at our cost.
Photograph the crate and the unit before the carrier leaves, and keep the signed delivery document with your order number. Check the moving parts as well as the shell: the doors and their seals, the digital display, and on a Red Light model the hinges, magnetic closures, maintenance tray and positioning arm.
